Anime Expo Hosts BAND-MAID Guitarist Miku Kobato, Comedian Yuriyan Retriever
Anime Expo runs from July 3-6
Miku Kobato from BAND-MAID and comedian Yuriyan Retriever will be present at this year's Anime Expo event as officially announced by their Twitter account.
Band-Maid is a Japanese rock band consisting of five female members whose outfits are inspired by maids. Kobato plays guitar and sings in their music. They have created theme songs for various anime series such as Tougen Anki, Rock is a Lady's Modesty, Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table, Platinum End, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, among others.
In 2021, Yuriyan Retriever became well-known as a top Japanese comedian after winning the KTV R-1 Grand Prix. She has also appeared on America's Got Talent and starred in The Queen of Villains live-action show. Additionally, she has collaborated with various international brands.
The convention previously announced other guests and premieres over the past few months.
Anime Expo takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3-6.
