The Demon King's Daughter Is Too Kind!! Manga Gets TV Anime in 2026

Hakusensha announced on Friday that Yūya Sakamoto 's The Demon King's Daughter Is Too Kind!!
An anime adaptation of the popular manga "Maō no Musume wa Yasashi Sugiru!!" is set to air in 2026. You can view a teaser promotional video for the anime on its website now, which also includes information about its main cast and staff.

Misaki Kuno as Doux
Ayaka Ōhashi as Jahi
Akio Ōtsuka as Ahriman
Shigeru Chiba will narrate the anime.
Masahiko Ōta is leading the production of the anime series at EMT Squared, with Takashi Aoshima handling the scriptwriting. The duo have previously collaborated as director and writer on several successful comedy anime series such as Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe, Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, The Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura, Love Lab, Survival Game Club!, Himouto! Umaruchan, Gabriel DropOut, Uzamaid!, Onipan!, and My Deer Friend Nokotan. Yūki Nakano, known for designing characters in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear and I'm Quitting Heroing, is in charge of character design for this series. Yasuhiro Misawa will compose the music for the anime.
The story revolves around Doux, a kind-hearted girl who is the daughter of the former ruthless demon lord Ahriman. Despite her father's efforts with his advisor Jahi to train her in demonic ways, Doux manages to soften the hearts of demons, monsters, and humans alike with her compassionate nature.
In May 2019, Sakamoto released his manga on Hakusensha's Manga Park app. Currently, it is also featured on their Young Animal website. As of August 2024, they have released the fifth compiled book volume of this manga series. On June 27th, they will publish the sixth volume.
