Ayumu Imazu performs theme song for series debuting on July 24
On Saturday, the team behind the TV anime adaptation of Yama Wayama's Karaoke Iko! manga and Muchū sa, Kimi ni manga released their second promotional video for Karaoke Iko! The video showcases the theme song "HOWL," which is being performed by Ayumu Imazu.
The staff also revealed new visuals for both anime.
On July 24 at 10:00 p.m., ABEMA will premier "Let's Go Karaoke!" before it airs on TV Tokyo at 10:30 p.m. Later that evening, anime versions of "Let's Go Karaoke!" and "Captivated by You" will air simultaneously on BS11, Kansai TV, Nagoya TV, HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. "Captivated by You" will debut on August 21.
The actors who have captured my attention are Kenshō Ono playing Miyoshi Hayashi, Kōki Uchiyama portraying Jōji Ema, Yūki Ono depicting Yuichi Medaka, and Nobuhiko Okamoto bringing Akira Nikaidou to life.
The anime "Yohane the Parhelion - SUNSHINE in the MIRROR" is being directed by Asami Nakatani at Dōga Kōbō. Yukiko Tsukahara is serving as the production coordinator on "The Imaginary". Yoshimi Narita is overseeing the series scripts for "Yohane the Parhelion - SUNSHINE in the MIRROR", while Mai Matsuura is designing the characters for "The Imaginary". Takurō Iga is responsible for composing the music for "Yohane the Parhelion - SUNSHINE in the MIRROR".

In 2019, Wayama published their manga "Let's Go Karaoke!" as a dojin work. Later in September 2020, it was published by Kadokawa in one volume. This manga finished third in the 14th Manga Taisho awards in 2021. In January 2024, a live-action film adaptation of the manga was released after being postponed from 2023.
"The Captivated" is a high school manga that was initially released as a self-published work in February 2019. It consists of one book that collects together Wayama's "Ushiro no Nikaidō" boys-love manga strips, along with a new 30-page story.
