Blue Encount, Kairi Yagi Denon Yuugi will perform new theme songs
The new anime series of Gōshō Aoyama's manga : Samurai Legend, called Shin Samurai-den YAIBA, has announced that Blue Encount will sing a new opening theme song titled "Blade Kizuna ver" and Kairi Yagi Denon Yuugi will perform a new ending theme song titled "Action!" for its second cours (quarter of a year).
The staff also revealed a new cast member. Sayaka Senbongi joins the cast as Nadeshiko Yamato.
The opening theme song of the show is sung by Blue Encount while the ending theme song is performed by singer-songwriter -otoha-.
Image courtesy of Sony Music Japan On April 5th, at 5:30 p.m., the anime premiered in Japan across various stations including YTV, NTV, and their affiliates during the " Gōshō Aoyama Hour" block before Detective Conan at 6:00 p.m. In North America, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, it is available for streaming on Netflix. In the US, it is accessible through Hulu.

Yaiba Kurogane has spent his days training in the jungle in order to attain his goal of becoming a real samurai. By a twist of fate, he returns to Japan and starts living with the Mine family, who are connected to his father, Kenjuro. Yaiba constantly baffles the Mines' daughter Sayaka as she witnesses his wild and reckless ways.
One day, Yaiba tags along with Sayaka to school and has a fateful encounter with Takeshi Onimaru, a kendo expert. Yaiba and Onimaru repeatedly clash, and as if in response to their search for strength, two ancient powers are unleashed: the Fujinken, the Wind God's Sword, and the Raijinken, the Thunder God's Sword. Both supernatural blades that have jolted the world since ancient days have reawakened...and the truth behind them is revealed!
In September 1988, Aoyama started publishing his manga series in Weekly Shonen Sunday by Shogakukan. The series ended in December 1993 after releasing 24 compiled book volumes in total.
The series inspired a 52-episode anime adaptation that ran from April 1993-April 1994.
Viz Media will also release the manga in English starting with the first volume on July 8.
