The Case Study of Vanitas Manga Gets New Chapter in July
Manga went on hiatus in May 2024
On Friday, it was revealed that the next issue of Gangan Joker magazine from Square Enix will contain a new chapter from Jun Mochizuki's manga series, The Case Study of Vanitas ( Vanitas no Carte ). This new chapter will be published in the July issue, which is scheduled for release on July 22nd.
The manga went on a two-month hiatus in May 2024. The manga then extended ( link ) Since May 2024, there have been no new chapters released for "its" series, which is currently on a break until July of the same year.
The manga previously went on hiatus in June 2022, and resumed in May 2023.
Since its launch, Yen Press has released the first volume of the manga in both Japanese and English versions at the same time.
Rumors revolving around The Book of Vanitas, a clockwork grimoire of dubious reputation, draw Noé, a young vampire in search of a friend's salvation, to Paris. What awaits him in the City of Flowers, however, is not long hours treading the pavement or rifling through dusty bookshops in search of the tome. Instead, his quarry comes to him...in the arms of a man claiming to be a vampire doctor! Thrust into a conflict that threatens the peace between humans and vampires, will Noé cast in his lot with the curious and slightly unbalanced Vanitas and his quest to save vampirekind?
In December 2015, the manga series "Pandora Hearts" by Mochizuki was released in Gangan Joker. As of April 2024, Square Enix has published the 11th volume of this series.
The animated series "Bones" is based on a manga that first appeared in July 2021. Its second part was released in January 2022. Funimation streamed the first part as well as an English dub version. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the second part as it was released, with Crunchyroll also offering the first part for streaming.
