On July 5th, the anime adaptation of the "University Student Arc" from the "Rascal Does Not Dream" light novel series began airing.
On Saturday, Crunchyroll started broadcasting the English-dubbed version of Seishun Buta Yarō wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai, which is based on the "University Student Arc" of the Seishun Buta Yarō (Rascal Does Not Dream) light novel series. The English-dubbed cast includes voice actors who portray the characters in the anime adaptation of this popular light novel series.

On July 5 at 11:30 p.m., the new anime will be shown simultaneously on multiple channels such as Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, ABEMA, U-NEXT, Anime Hōdai, ABC TV, Mētele, and AT-X. Additionally, Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime as it airs.
Director Sōichi Masai, anime studio CloverWorks, series composition writer Masahiro Yokotani, character designer Satomi Tamura, sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami, and composer fox capture plan are among the returning staff members for the anime.
In Snowdrop, the group sings the introductory tune "Snowdrop" with their respective voice actors playing Uzuki Hirokawa, Ikumi Akagi, Sara Himeji, and Tōko Kirishima. For the conclusion, they perform "The Horizon Is My Old Wound" as their ending theme song.
In April 2014, Kadokawa released the initial book from Hajime Kamoshida's series, titled Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yarō wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai). In August 2024, the 14th volume of the series, titled Seishun Buta Yarō wa Girfriend no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Girlfriend), was released. Finally, in October 2024, the last volume of the series, Seishun Buta Yarō wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend), was released.

The anime adaptation of the light novel series "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" premiered in Japan in October 2018 with 13 episodes. It covers up to the fifth volume of the light novel series. Aniplex of America streamed it on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and other platforms in the United States.
The anime movie "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl" was released in Japan in June 2019. It was based on the sixth and seventh volumes of the light novel series. In the United States, Aniplex of America and Funimation Films showed the anime.
An anime adaptation of the eighth and ninth books in the series "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out" was released as a sequel project. The first film based on this adaptation was shown in Japan in June 2023, while the second film was released in December of the same year. In March 2024, Aniplex of America brought these films to U.S. theaters for screening.
