Manga debuted in November 2020, inspired ongoing anime series
Image via Amazon According to the latest information from Shueisha, the final battle in Yuuto Suzuki's Sakamoto Days manga will be featured in the combined 36th and 37th issues of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. These issues will be released on August 4th.
In December 2019, Suzuki released a standalone manga called "Sakamoto" through Jump Giga. Following that, the main manga series began its publication in Weekly Shonen Jump by Shueisha in November 2020.

In July 2024, a spin-off of the manga called "Sakamoto Holidays" was released in "Saikyō Jump" magazine by Shueisha. Tetsu Ōkawa, who collaborates on the main manga, is responsible for drawing this spin-off. Prior to that, in April 2023, the main manga inspired a novel, which was followed by another novel that was released in December 2024.
The anime version of the manga series began airing on TV Tokyo and its associated networks on January 11th. At the same time, the series became available for streaming on Netflix. The first part of the series consisted of 11 episodes.
The second part of the anime series began airing on TV Tokyo and associated channels on July 15 at midnight JST (which was actually July 14 at 24:00 JST). Meanwhile, the first episode of the second part was available for streaming on Netflix ahead of time on July 14. However, only the 12th episode of the series will be streamed simultaneously with its Japanese television broadcast.
