In April 3 anime, Saito and Ura are portrayed as identical twins named Seiryu and Uryu Sakaki.
At AnimeJapan 2025, during a live-action performance, it was announced that two new actors have been cast for the second season of Wind Breaker anime series based on Satoru Nii 's manga. Sōma Saitō will portray Seiryu Sakaki while Kazuki Ura will voice Uryu Sakaki in the upcoming season.

The second season of the anime will be released on April 3rd during the Super Animeism TURBO block of MBS/TBS affiliate stations at 12:26 am JST (which translates to 4:26 pm EST). It will also be available for streaming on ABEMA at the same time. In Japan, it will start streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, U-NEXT, and other streaming platforms.
There is an upcoming advance screening of the anime on March 29th at the United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo.
In the upcoming second season of the show, two new actors have been added to the cast. These are Ryōta Ōsaka who will play Tasuku Tsubakino, and Junya Enoki who will portray Shingo natori.
In January 2021, Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app released the manga by Nii in Japanese.
Kodansha USA Publishing obtained the rights to publish the manga in English and began digital distribution in spring 2022. Currently, they are also printing and distributing physical copies of the series, with new volumes being released monthly starting in July. They describe the manga as follows.

The manga "Wind Breaker : Heroic Tales of Delinquents" was adapted into a stage play which took place in Osaka from January 1st to 3rd and in Tokyo from January 10th to 19th. Additionally, on March 12th, "A Wind Breaker Furyō-tachi no Eiyūtan" was released as a game for smartphones and PC.
