Armed Girl's Mahiavellism manga authors launched series in August 2023
On Saturday, the last chapter of Yūya Kurokami and Karuna Kanzaki's Yō, Aquarist (What's Up, Aquarist?) manga was featured in the September issue of Kadokawa 's Shōnen Ace magazine. On August 26th, the third and final collected volume of this manga will be released.
Tetsuo is a rugged man who harbors a kind soul. Following a summer celebration, he stumbles upon two goldfish swimming in plastic-filled water that has been carelessly discarded in the trash. Feeling compassionate, he rescues them and releases them into a nearby river. However, his actions are halted by a stunning girl named Kanade, who reveals herself as an aquarist. She persuades him to keep the goldfish, but he soon discovers that doing so is much more challenging than he initially anticipated.
In August 2023, the manga was introduced by Kurokami and Kanzaki in Shōnen Ace. The second volume of the manga was released by Kadokawa in November 2024.
In March 2014, Kanzaki and Kurokami began publishing their manga series titled "Armed Girl's Machiavellism" in Shōnen Ace. They concluded the series in June 2022 after releasing its final compiled book volume in August of that year through Kadokawa.
An anime adaptation of a manga was released in April 2017. Sentai Filmworks exclusively streamed the series on Amazon's Anime Strike channel during its Japanese broadcast. Although Anime Strike was shut down by Amazon after about one year of operation in January 2018, Armed Girl's Machiavellism and other Anime Strike titles remain accessible on Amazon Prime and HIDIVE.
