Film opened in N. America on August 8

In just six days, My Daughter is a Zombie surpassed two million admissions in Korea, making it the fastest movie of 2025 to do so, as reported by the Korean Film Council.
On July 30th, a movie was released in Korea that had the largest opening day in the country in 2021 with 430,000 people attending. This exceeded the previous record set by Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning .
In Korean cinema history, the movie had the most successful first day in terms of ticket sales among comedies.
Based on Yoon-chang Lee's hit webtoon series, which has amassed over 500 million global views, the comedy follows a devoted father on a top-secret mission to protect his daughter — the last surviving zombie on Earth. The film stars Jung-suk Cho, Jung-eun Lee, and Yu-ri Choi.
On August 8th, "My Daughter is a Zombie" was launched in cinemas throughout North America, including both the United States and Canada. JBG Pictures USA has been tasked with distributing this film within North America. Meanwhile, Contents Panda has been assigned the responsibility of releasing it internationally outside of North America.
