Arc begins in 2nd season's 9th episode on August 29
On Saturday, the Twitter account for the animated series based on Kotoyama's Call of the Night manga released a promotional video and visual for the Halloween Night arc that will begin in episode nine of season two on August 29th.
Image via Call of the Night anime's website The anime series started showing on Fuji TV and its associated channels in Japan on July 4th during the Noitamina time slot at 11:30 p.m. JST (10:30 a.m. EDT). It continues every Friday at that time. HIDIVE is streaming it as it airs.
Rina Satō is portrayed as Kiku Hoshimi in the series, who is described as alluring and captures Mahiru's heart. Maaya Uchida has been added to the cast as Haru Nanakusa, who looks like Nazuna Nanakusa but is a nurse. Tomokazu Sugita is playing LG, who is loyal to Midori Kohakobe.
In Japan, the anime's first season was released in July 2022. As it was being broadcasted, English subtitles were made available on HIDIVE for viewers outside Japan. Additionally, HIDIVE introduced an English dub version of the anime in September 2022.
In addition to performing "Nemure" (Sleep) as the second season's ending theme song, Creepy Nuts has been tasked with performing "Mirage" as the opening theme song for the second season. As in the first season, they will be responsible for both songs. The manga is titled after their hit tune "Yofukashi no Uta," which was used as the opening theme for the first season.

Nazuna asks Ko to stay over at her old building for the evening. Ko is thrilled because he gets to hang out with Nazuna again. However, when he wakes up, he finds himself being kissed on his neck with too much force. Is it just because of how tasty his blood is? Or is there something else going on? Then, when a girl from Yamori's past comes by and tries to take his attention away from Nazuna, their relationship is put to the test.
In August 2019, Shogakukan started publishing the Call of the Night manga in its Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. It ended in January 2024 after being published for five years. Shogakukan released its final compiled book volume in March 2024.
