Rock is a Lady's Modesty Anime Reveals English Dub Cast, September 17 Debut
Dub premiere screens at Anime NYC on Saturday
On September 17th at 1:00 p.m., HIDIVE will start streaming the English dub of Rock is a Lady's Modesty (Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite) manga. This premiere screening is happening at Anime NYC event on Saturday at 7:00 p.m., EDT.

John Swasey is in charge of the English language version of this project. Marta Bechtol has written the script for additional dialogue recording. Brent Marshall is responsible for mixing the English version of the audio. Patrick Marrero is in charge of the audio engineering for this project.
The anime started airing on TBS and its affiliate stations on April 3rd. At the same time, HIDIVE made it available for streaming as it was being broadcasted.
At BN Pictures, Shinya Watada directed the anime for both Aikatsu Stars! and The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Meanwhile, Ori Yasukawa served as the assistant director for both series. Shogo Yasukawa was in charge of writing the scripts for Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma and A Certain Scientific Railgun T. Risa Miyadani designed the characters for both Aikatsu! Planet and Wonderful Precure! The Movie! Lastly, Yasufumi Soejima was responsible for visual direction for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

In Lilisa Suzunomiya's world, she attends an exclusive school for women where beautiful girls from across Japan come together. Despite being raised by her father, a successful real estate entrepreneur, Lilisa puts aside her love for music and adopts a more refined persona. However, her passion for rock is reignited when she encounters a talented drummer at her school.
In October 2022, the manga "Fukuda" was launched in Young Animal. Hakusensha released the first compiled book volume in April 2023 and published the eighth volume on August 29.
