TV Tokyo streamed a special trailer for the second live-action season based on' Hiroko Natsuno 's At 25:00 in Akasaka ( 25-Ji, Akasaka de ) boys-love manga on Sunday. The staff also announced that singer-songwriter SIRUP is performing the opening theme song "KIRA KIRA."
Season 2 of the show premieres on TV Tokyo on October 1st at 25:00 JST (which means it starts on October 2nd at 1:00 a.m. JST). It will also be shown on other channels and can be streamed online through GagaOOLala, U-NEXT, and Net mo TV Tokyo in Japan.

The new directors for this season are Yuka Yasukawa for "My Love Story with Yamada-kun", Shinju Funabiki for "My Personal Weatherman", and Takashi Haga for "Me & My Brother's Mistress". Meanwhile, Miho Aotsuka and Kumiko Asō are returning as scriptwriters for "Rent-A-Girlfriend".
During the upcoming anime series, there is a significant event that creates conflict between Hayama and Shirasaki. This event will focus on the "stage production arc" from the manga.

Yuki Shirasaki finally landed his big break. But the pressure is on when he's cast alongside current superstar (and his former classmate!) Asami Hayama. The show made its debut on multiple Japanese television stations including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu on April 18th in 2024. It was also available for streaming worldwide in Japanese with English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish, and Thai subtitles through GagaOOLala, where it was ranked as the top-performing series during its run.
Natsuno launched ( link ) the manga in Shodensha 's On Blue boys love magazine in November 2017, and ended ( link ) it in October 2018. Natsuno launched ( link ) a side story serialization for the manga in December 2018, and has been irregularly publishing the manga ever since. Shodensha published the manga's fourth compiled book volume in December 2022. The publisher futekiya previously released the manga digitally in English, as well as Natsuno's The Love of Calendula ( Fuyu Shirazu no Koi ) manga.
