Manga will launch in Young Gangan, with more information coming on October 3




Last Friday, it was announced in the 19th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine that Kei Sanbe will create a new manga called Snow Drop ~Anata no Shi o Nozomimasu~ (Snow Drop ~I Desire Your Death~). Although no launch date was specified in this issue, it was stated that more information about the manga would be provided in the magazine's next issue on October 3rd.

Sanbe has recently released two new mangas, namely "Reto the Protector" and "The 13th Footprint". These mangas were launched in March 2023 in their respective magazines - "Reto the Protector" was published in Square Enix 's "Big Gangan" magazine while "The 13th Footprint" was released on Kadokawa 's "Comic Newtype" web manga site. As of now, Square Enix has published the fourth volume of "Reto the Protector" on April 24th, while Kadokawa has released the fifth volume of "The 13th Footprint" on June 10th.

Square Enix has released Reto the Protector in digital format on their platform Manga UP! in English, while Yen Press has published The 13th Footprint in English as well.

From 2012 to March 2016, the manga "Sanbe serialized ERASED" was published in Japan. Additionally, there was a spinoff manga that was released from June to November of the same year. This manga received several nominations for awards such as the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize 'Reader Award', Manga Taisho Awards in 2015, and Seiun comic award in 2017. Yen Press has also released this manga in English for readers outside of Japan.

In January 2016, an anime series was released with an English dub by Aniplex of America. Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Funimation also streamed it as it was being broadcasted live in Japan. Additionally, there was a live-action film version that debuted in Japan in March 2016. Netflix later produced their own Japanese live-action series adaptation which was released in December 2017.

In July 2017, Kadokawa published Sanbe's manga series "For the Kid I Saw in My Dreams" (Yume de Mita: Anoko no Tame ni) in their "Young Ace" magazine. This series ended in July 2022. Meanwhile, Kodansha released Sanbe's manga series "Island in a Puddle" (Mizutamari ni Ukabu Shima) in their "Evening" magazine in November 2019. This series ended in September 2021. Both series have been released in English by Yen Press and Kodansha USA Publishing respectively.
