The official website for Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- has released the main promotional video for season two of the anime series based on Midori Yūma and Laruha 's light novel series of the same name. The video showcases both the opening theme song "Tōryanse" and its ending theme song "Namida no Recipe" (The Recipe for Tears), which are performed by Nao Tōyama, who voices the protagonist Aoi. Additionally, the website has announced a new cast member for season two.
Asaki Yuikawa joins the second season's cast as Takechiyo (seen below).

In North America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and several other regions, Crunchyroll will broadcast the second season of a TV show or anime series.
Joe Yoshizaki is directing at Studio GONZO for the new season of "The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows." Additionally, Studio Makaria is joining the production. Tomoko Konparu is returning to oversee and write the scripts for the new season. Hidemi Katsura is the new character designer, while Noriyo Gōroku is now responsible for the art setting and initial color-check art boards. Yi Nong Chen is the compositing director of photography for the new season, with Satoshi Motoyama directing the sound. Finally, Takurō Iga is returning to compose the music for the new season with Flying Dog as his collaborator.
In 2018, the initial season of the anime was launched on Crunchyroll while it was still airing in Japan. Additionally, Funimation made both the Japanese version and an English dub available for streaming on their platform. Furthermore, Funimation released the series on home video in 2019.
The show revolves around Aoi, a female university student with the gift of seeing spirits from her deceased grandfather. She takes pride in her culinary skills. During one of her cooking sessions with agricultural spirits, she encounters a god and the proprietor of Tenjin-ya inn who abducts her. He explains that her grandfather owes him money, so she must become his wife. However, Aoi is against this arrangement and decides instead to repay her grandfather's debt through working at Tenjin-ya.
In 2015, Yūma started a new book collection with Kadokawa's Fujimi L Bunko imprint, which was published as its 12th volume in March 2022.
In January 2023, the manga version of the novels from Kodansha 's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine was introduced by Tsugaru Toba. On July 30, the ninth volume of this manga was published by Kodansha.
The novels have a separate ongoing manga adaptation by Waco Ioka , which launched ( link ) In April 2016, Kadokawa published the manga in their B's-LOG COMIC magazine and on their website. They released the 11th volume of the manga in November 2024. Viz Media has licensed the manga and is currently releasing it under the title "Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-". They shipped the 10th volume on March 11.
