Game launches on Thursday
On Tuesday, the official YouTube channel of the Silent Hill video game series released the launch trailer of its latest installment, Silent Hill f. The video is available in both Japanese and English audio versions.

The game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Thursday, September 25.

Ryukishi07 wrote the story for Higurashi: When They Cry, Kera designed both the characters and creatures in the game. Motoi Okamoto served as the producer for the game, while Neobards Entertainment, known for their work on Resident Evil Re:Verse, developed it. In October 2024, Silent Hill 2 Remake was released on PS5 and PC through Steam by Bloober Team, who is also known for creating games such as Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, and The Medium. They have recently partnered with
Konami for a new project.
Konami released Silent Hill: The Short Message as a free title for PS5 in January 2024.
Filming for a new movie called "Return to Silent Hill," directed by Christophe Gans, has started in April 2023 with actors Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson starring in it.
In October 2023, the interactive streaming series known as The Silent Hill: Ascension was launched. This project ended in April 2024.
Silent Hill: Townfall is being developed as a joint project by No Code and Annapurna Interactive. While
Konami has not disclosed any specific release details or additional information about the project, it is known that it is being produced by these two companies.
