BD ships in Japan on April 3, 2026
In the latest edition of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine, it was announced on Friday that the Special Edition Blu-ray Disc for the anime adaptation of Akiharu Tōka's manga series "The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess" will include two exclusive anime episodes based on short stories that were not included in the television broadcast. These episodes are "Yomi to Shitto to Tanjōbi" ("Yomi, Jealousy, and Happy Birthday") and "Iana to Sol Netsuppoi Ichinichi" ("A Bad Case of Butler Fever"). The Blu-ray Disc will be available for purchase in Japan on April 3, 2026.


On October 9th at midnight JST, the anime will be released in Japan on TV Tokyo and BS11. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll has secured streaming rights for North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS regions.

Hiroaki Sakurai is directing the anime at Studio DEEN, Mitsutaka Hirota is in charge of the series scripts, Tomoyo Sawada is designing the characters, and Ryūichi Takada from MONACA is composing the music at HIKE for The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and Di Gi Charat.
The Exile Tribe kids performed the "Black Flame" song as their opening theme, while Zerofrom sang "Rengene" as their closing tune.
Yen Press is releasing the romantic comedy manga in English, and it describes the story:
