In the summer of 1998, a fifteen year old girl named Mei Misaki went on vacation with her family to their seaside home. While there, she encountered the spirit of Teruya Sakaki, one of her classmates from Yomiyama North Middle School Class 3-3 who had also witnessed strange occurrences at the school. Together, they embarked on a quest to discover both the ghost's physical form and his memories related to the mysterious events that took place at their former institution.
