In Yomiyama North Middle School's Class 3, there was a tragedy in 1998 that resulted in many student deaths. Now, Sou Hiratsuka, who is friends with Mei Misaki from that time period, finds himself in the same class as Mei. Along with his classmates, they attempt to prevent another disaster from occurring. However, when Sou's classmates and their families start dying in gruesome accidents, he and Mei come to realize that the calamity has returned. They must confront Yomiyama's darkest secrets in order to stop the deaths.
