In ancient times, there was a fierce conflict between two deities responsible for creation and destruction, resulting in seismic activity throughout the world. Both goddesses ultimately succumbed to their battle, giving rise to what is now known as Lodoss - a land cursed by their demise. Recently, an ominous occurrence has taken place in this accursed territory. Parn, a brash young warrior, embarks on a journey with his new companions to uncover the source of this malevolence and unwittingly becomes entangled in a grand saga pitting good against evil since the time of the goddesses' war.
