In order to combat the madman Randou, who operates his base in the Arctic, a new team of Getter Robo pilots is assembled, piloting a new type of Getter Robo that runs on plasma energy. The war against Randou's army commences with the support of various nations' militaries. This series marks the introduction of Shin Getter Robo.
