KOKIA is a renowned Japanese singer-songwriter hailing from Tokyo. She has garnered significant recognition for her work in games and anime soundtracks, having contributed to eight different projects thus far. KOKIA possesses an exceptional vocal talent - she even managed to sustain a long-tone opera note for more than 29 seconds on national television once. In Hong Kong and Taiwan, she is particularly celebrated for her song Arigatou..., which gained immense popularity and was later covered by renowned artist Sammi Cheng. Her most successful single in Japan was The Power of Smile / Remember the Kiss, which reached a respectable #15 on Oricon charts.
