In the city of Steam City, which is reminiscent of London but powered by coal and steam, there are times when it's shrouded in a mist due to its steamy environment. Malefactors exploit this foggy condition to carry out their nefarious schemes. Only a select few brave souls dare venture beyond the hazy boundaries. These individuals are known as the Steam Detectives: Narutaki, his trustworthy nurse-assistant Lingning, and his powerful Megamaton robot Gohliki, equipped with an all-purpose pistol convertible.
