Naota Nandaba is an average sixth-grade student living in a city where nothing exciting happens. After his brother Tasuku leaves to play baseball in America, Naota takes care of everything he left behind, including his bunk bed and ex-girlfriend Mamimi Samejima, who still clings to him. Unbeknownst to Naota, his ordinary life is about to change dramatically: enter Haruko Haruhara, a Vespa-riding, bass guitar-playing, pink-haired psychopath whose first encounter with Naota leaves him with tire tracks on his back and a giant horn on his head. Despite wanting peace and quiet, Naota finds himself drawn into the epic struggle for dominance that threatens to shake Earth-and possibly the entire universe.
