The protagonist is known as Mister, a space-faring outlaw who has been incarcerated for a year due to a traffic violation. With only ten days remaining until his release, he enlists the help of his former associates Bishop and Katana to escape prison. Following his breakout, Mister seeks out Franka, an orphan left behind by her deceased father, in order to embark on a quest to locate her father's treasure. The duo is pursued relentlessly by federal investigators Angelica and Chelsea as well as the lethal android assassins of the Criminal Guild, known as Madame Marcianos Twelve Sisters.
