The planet known as Libertia was once referred to as "the planet of death." However, after humans constructed three enormous mirrors and created what appeared to be an idyllic environment, it gained a new reputation. On this planet resided Professor Grace and his granddaughter Alcia, who lived harmoniously until their home was invaded by Guild soldiers in search of the professor and Legaciam - a unique Armor capable of withstanding intense heat, enabling humans to inhabit areas otherwise uninhabitable. During the attack, Alcia piloted Legaciam to aid her grandfather in testing, but managed to escape just barely. Despite this, the Guild remained relentless in its pursuit of Legaciam.
