In season two of the anime series "Sword Art Online," a mysterious young girl named Kikuri is introduced in episode 4. She has the ability to move freely between the mortal world and the virtual world of Aiz's house, sometimes causing problems for him and his companions. Her appearance is accompanied by a soothing background music, but her personality is much more childish than Ais, with a tendency to play pranks. Despite expressing affection towards Ai, Kikuri's actions often seem to cause the greatest amount of suffering and fear possible. It is unclear whether this behavior is due to true malice or not. Occasionally, she takes pleasure in small acts of destruction, such as cutting flowers or damaging things that Ai cares about. Kikumi has demonstrated remarkable skill with her loincloth, using it to catch or strike objects. Despite causing problems for him, Kikumi follows only Ai's orders, even when going against the wishes of others. In one episode, she shows this behavior while attempting to touch Aiz's grandmother's spinning wheels, despite the woman's protests.
