Shintarou Midorima

Midorima often comes across as reserved, rude, and brusque to others, giving off an arrogant demeanor. However, Takao claims that Midorima is just a "tsundere." Despite his difficulty in showing kindness towards his opponents, he enjoys pursuing them into playful banter. He always carries a lucky item with him due to his strong belief and passion for horoscopes. His left hand is bandaged outside of matches because he believes it must be in perfect condition to ensure nothing influences his shot. Additionally, he shapes his nails to maintain the ideal form for shooting. Midorima was previously a member of Teikou Middle School's basketball team and is part of the Generation of Miracles (Kiseki no Sedai). His jersey number was seven while playing at Teikou but switched to six when he joined Shūtokus. He also served as vice-captain under Akashi. Midorima excels in accuracy, which is evident in his shots that always hit the target. He can shoot with precision from any distance. Furthermore, he is a skilled defender.
