The priestess at Mt. Muldoon's summit who has the least explored character traits. She often appears serious and unchanging, but occasionally makes lighthearted comments about Shayla. Despite being roughly the same age as her counterpart, she is more composed than Shayla. However, she sometimes neglects her duties, like when both of them are late for Arliman's ritual start due to shopping at a bazaar and disregarding Makoto's initial pleas. In The Wanderers series, Afura is portrayed as an intelligent and studious priestess with more defined character traits compared to her counterpart in the book. Her temple on a windy mountain peak houses a vast library of texts.
