The second character introduced in the series, Gluttony, is a large, simple-minded homunculus who mostly thinks about food. He has strong jaws and acidic saliva, which allows him to eat almost anything, including people. In battles, he finds pleasure only if he believes he can eat his opponent afterwards. A common joke in the manga and anime is asking other Homunculi if they can eat someone. Gluttony seems to prefer eating girls and shares a bond with Lust, his partner. While there isn't much information about him in the 2003 anime series, he was created by Father as the sixth Homunculus in both the manga and 2009 anime series.
