In 2019, a spin-off manga based on Haruichi Furudate's popular manga series "Haikyu!! was released.
On Monday, Haikyūbu!! manga, which is a spinoff of Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! manga, had its last chapter released on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website.
In 2019, Miyajima started publishing their manga series titled "High-tension club activities comedy" which centers around rival schools on Shonen Jump+. This fall, Shueisha will release the final volume of this manga series, which is its 14th compiled book volume.
In 2011, Furudate started the Haikyu!! manga series which ended in July 2020 after its 45th volume was published by Shueisha in November 2020. Viz Media is currently publishing both digital and print versions of the manga, while MANGA Plus is also releasing it digitally in English.
Haikyu!! To The Top is a television anime series that was adapted from a popular manga series by Production I.G . Its first season began airing in April 2014, followed by the second season in October 2015 and the third season in October 2016. The first half of season four began airing in January 2020, with episode 13 airing in April 2020. Originally planned for July 2020, the second half of season four was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and eventually premiered in October 2020.
In Japan in February 2024, the first film in the Haikyu!! Final sequel film project was released as "HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle" or "Gekijōban Haikyu!! Gomi Suteba no Kessen". This movie sold 1,529,000 tickets for 2,230,465,540 yen (around US$14.12 million) in its first three days of screening. "HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle" was also shown in North American theaters in May 2024 with Japanese audio and English subtitles or with an English dub.
The sequel movie for the film series "Haikyu!!", called "Gekijōban Haikyū!! VS Chiisana Kyojin", has been approved for production. Additionally, an anime short titled "Haikyu!! Bakemono-tachi no Iku Tokoro" (Where Monsters Go) will be shown on television.
The manga has given rise to various adaptations such as stage plays, clay animations, compilation anime films, and video anime.
