CITY The Animation Reveals 2 New Cast Members

Kazutomi Yamamoto, Kiyomitsu Mizuuchi join cast of July 6 series

The official website for The Animation has announced two new voice actors who will join the show's cast every Monday. These new additions are part of the weekly cast reveal series.

Kiyomitsu Mizuuchi as Ii Hito (the Good Guy)

The anime will start airing on Tokyo MX at midnight JST on July 6th, followed by ABC TV and TV Aichi at a later time. Additionally, it will begin streaming on BS11 at 11 pm JST on July 7th.

- Satoshi Inomata as Ryōta Adatara
- Coco Hayashi as Kamome Adatara
- Haruna Fukushima as Umi Adatara
- Yūki Tenma as Sora Adatara
- Yū Miyazaki as Kamaboko Oni
- Ryōta Suzuki as Todoroki

Tamami Tokuyama is both the character designer and chief animation director of Sound! Euphonium: Ensemble Contest Arc, while Shiori Yamazaki is the art director of Violet Evergarden: The Movie and Sound! Euphonium The Movie - Our Promise: A Brand New Day. Kana Miyata is the color designer, Hiroki Ueda is the director of photography, Tatsunori Kase is the 3D director, Yōta Tsuruoka is the sound director, and Piranhans are composing the anime's music. Pony Canyon is in charge of music production.

Riho Furui sings the introductory tune titled "Hello," while TOMOO performs the concluding track called "Lucky" as the theme songs for a program.

Kyoto Animation is currently working on an anime project directed by Taichi Ishidate. This will be their first non-sequel anime in six years.

In September 2016, the manga "Arawi" was introduced in Kodansha's "Morning" magazine. It continued until February 2021, with its final compiled book volume released in April of that same year.

The manga is available both as a physical book from Vertical (Kodansha USA) and through Kodansha's online service, K MANGA.

The manga returned in Kodansha 's Morning magazine on December 12.
