After four years of conflict, the great war finally ended. during this time, telesis was divided into two parts but slowly began to recover. one of those affected by the war was violet evergarden, a young girl who had been raised for the sole purpose of killing enemy lines. injured during the final battle, she lost her ability to understand the meaning behind the words spoken to her by someone dear to her heart. as she recovered from her wounds, violet found work at ch postal services after a disagreement with her new guardian family. there, she encountered an "auto memory doll," which inspired her to become one herself. this decision would lead her on an adventure that would change the lives of those around her and potentially bring her self-discovery.
