Hazumi Takeda returns from previous 2 adaptations as artist for new manga

Last Friday, it was announced that Hazumi Takeda will create a manga adaptation of the 26th volume of Tsutomu Satou 's The Irregular at Magic High School light novel series in the next issue of Square Enix 's Monthly G Fantasy magazine, which will be released on May 16th. The manga will be titled Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei : Invasion-hen (The Irregular at Magic High School : Invasion Arc).

In November 2024, Square Enix published the first compiled book volume of Takeda's manga adaptation of the 19th novel volume of The Irregular at Magic High School : Masaki Ichijō Transfers Schools Arc, which had been launched in Monthly G Fantasy that same month by Takeda.

In March 2020, Takeda's Shizoku Kaigi-hen manga began its run on G Fantasy. It ended in September 2024. Square Enix released the ninth volume of this manga in November 2024.

In December 2019, G Fantasy launched a manga version of Tsuna Kitaumi's Yotsuba Keishō-hen arc from the Yotsuba Succession series. This manga concluded in its third volume in May 2022. Fumino Hayashi and Chiaki Nagaoka were responsible for the composition. The manga covered volume 16 of the original novel series. Additionally, Kitaumi has created other manga adaptations such as Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Double Seven-hen, Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Kyūkōsen-hen, and Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Nyūgaku-hen.

In 2008, Tsutomu Satou began his light novel series known as "The Irregular at Magic High School" or "Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei." This series lasted until its 32nd volume was released in September 2020. Two sequels were published in October 2020 and January 2021.

The original The Irregular at Magic High School series is published by Yen Press as a light novel series, while Yu Mori creates a manga adaptation of this series called The Honor Student at Magic High School.

The animated series "The Irregular at Magic High School" first aired on television in April 2014 for 26 episodes. It was followed by "The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc," which debuted in October 2020 with 13 episodes. The third season of the series began airing on television in April 2024. In addition to these television series, there is also a film adaptation of "The Irregular at Magic High School" called "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars," which was released in Japan in June 2017. Additionally, there is a manga adaptation of "The Honor Student at Magic High School," which was turned into a 13-episode television anime that premiered in July 2021.

An anime film adaptation of the light novel series "Yotsuba Keishō-hen," known as Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Yotsuba Keishō-hen (The Irregular at Magic High School : Yotsuba Succession Arc), is set to be released next winter.
