"Umitsuki" opening is 1st new anime song of ClariS as trio; Regal Lily performs ending




On Friday, the staff behind the anime adaptation of Reiji Miyajima's manga series "Rent-A-Girlfriend" (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) announced the artists performing the theme songs, revealed the premiere date for July 4th, and shared the fourth "date" visual featuring Sumi Sakurasawa for season four.

This year, the popular singing duo ClariS has become a trio. They are performing the opening theme song for an anime series and have written their first song with three members, titled "Umitsuki." The members have expressed their enjoyment of the manga and anime and believe they have successfully captured the emotions of Kazuya in their new song.

The band Regal Lily performs the ending theme song "Boku no Vega" (My Vega).

The anime series "Animeism" is set to air its fourth season starting from July 5th at 2:23 AM on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS channels during their "Animeism" programming block.

The fourth season will run for two cours (quarters of a year) with a break in between.

The anime's returning cast members include:

- Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita
- Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara
- Aoi Yūki as Mami Nanami
- Nao Tōyama as Ruka Sarashina
- Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa
- Yū Serizawa as Mini Yaemori


The team working on TMS Entertainment's fourth season will have a new director. While the individuals who directed the first two seasons have finished their work, Shin'ya Une, who led the third season, will be replaced by Kazuomi Koga in the upcoming fourth season.

The new season will cover the Hawaiians arc.

In July 2023, the anime's third season was released globally on Crunchyroll, except for Asia.

The second season premiered in July 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.

In July 2020, the initial season of anime was introduced on the Animeism platform and consisted of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll provided global streaming access to this anime, with the exception of Asia.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old failure of a college student. He managed to kiss his girlfriend once, but was dumped after a month. "Ugh... Damn it. I never want to go through that again."

Miyajima launched ( link ) In July 2017, a manga was featured in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine. This manga is now being published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing.

The manga also inspired a live-action series that premiered in July 2022.
