An image has been unveiled for the upcoming anime that will premiere on April 10th.




On Saturday at the AnimeJapan 2025 event, Netflix revealed additional information about Moonrise, a project collaboration between Wit Studio and author Tow Ubukata. This included new cast members, a trailer, and visuals for the anime series.

The new cast includes:

- Kōsuke Takaguchi as Osma
- Satoshi Yamaguchi as Duan
- Kori Arisa as Inanna Zinger
- Yuka Terasaki as Zowan
Eric Baker is portrayed by Yū Kobayashi in the film.
As Georg Landry, Katsunori Okai is portrayed in the show.
Rhys Rochelle is portrayed by Misaki Yamada in the film.
- Aina The End as Mary
Bob Skylum is Masaki Aizawa.
- Takehito Koyasu as Wise Crowne
As Dr. Salamandra, what is your name?
- Arisa Sekine as Windy Sylph
- Shin Aomori as Novice Harbinger


On April 10th, the anime will be released globally through the streaming platform.

In the upcoming anime, Chiaki Kobayashi will voice the character of Jacob Shadow while Yūto Uemura will portray Phil Ash.

Masashi Koizuka is directing Attack on Titan season 2-3 and is in charge of overseeing the series scripts. Hiromu Arakawa, who created Fullmetal Alchemist, Silver Spoon, and Arslan manga series, is the original character designer for Attack on Titan. Ayumi Yamada is adapting those designs for animation, while Ryo Kawasaki is composing the music for the series.

New employees have been hired.

The animation directors in charge are Ayumi Yamada and Satoshi Kadowaki.
Megumi Tomita is a sub-character designer.

Aina will sing the show's theme song titled "It's All Right" during the performance.

The release date of the anime had been planned for 2024.

It appears that Ubukata Shinjiro, the author of the original Mardock Scramble series as well as the scripts for Ghost in the Shell Arise, Heroic Age, and Fafner, has made available a free prologue novel in English on Amazon. ( link ) In December 2018, under the title "Moonrise," Matt Treyvaud translated the novel.
