Commercial previews opening song by JAM Project, BABYMETAL
On Wednesday, it was announced that the third season of the anime adaptation of ONE and Yūsuke Murata's One Punch Man manga will premiere on October 5 at 11:45 p.m. JST (10:45 a.m. EDT) on TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TV Kyushu. Additionally, a visual and commercial were released that showcases the new opening theme "Get No Satisfied!" song by JAM Project with metal group BABYMETAL.

The revelation of additional staff for the anime included information about several individuals who have worked on previous seasons of the show. Shinpei Nagai is directing the series at J.C. Staff, while Tomohiro Suzuki returns as series composer. Chikashi Kubota is back as character designer, joined by Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryōsuke Shirakawa this time around. Sakura Murakami has been appointed as art director, having previously worked on background art for the second season with Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama. Mayumi Tanahashi is returning as color designer from the second season, while Yuki Hirose is now the director of photography, replacing Yoshio Ōkouchi from the previous season. Masahiro Gotō, Yoshikazu Iwanami, and Makoto Miyazaki are all returning from the second season as editor, sound director, and music composer, respectively.

Image via One-Punch Man anime's website Viz Media has obtained the rights for the third season of "The Prom" for North America, Latin America, and Oceania in all formats including theater, TV, digital, merchandise, and ancillary. They will release it in October for streaming. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll has secured the rights for streaming "The Prom" in Europe and the Middle East during fall.
Madhouse animated the first season of the show while J.C. Staff will be handling the animation for the upcoming second season.
The actors who will be back in the upcoming season are Makoto Furukawa playing Saitama, Hikaru Midorikawa voicing Garou, and Daisuke Namikawa portraying Dr. Genus.
In Japan, the initial season of the anime was broadcasted from October to December 2015. Both Viz Media and Daisuki made it available for streaming outside of Japan during its airing. It was simultaneously released with an English dub on Toonami on Adult Swim in July 2016. Viz Media later released the first season on home video in North America.
In April 2019, the second season of the TV show started with a special episode. One week later, the first episode was released. Viz Media obtained the rights for North America, Latin America, and Oceania for the entire second anime season, including streaming on digital platforms, TV broadcasting, selling through electronic means, distributing home media, and merchandising. In North America, Viz Media made it available exclusively on Hulu. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll streamed the series throughout Europe except for French- and German-speaking regions, as well as the Middle East and North Africa.
In 2012, Yūsuke Murata and ONE started publishing their version of ONE 's original web manga called "One Punch Man" on Shueisha 's " Tonari no Young Jump " website for free. This series is being released digitally in Viz Media 's " Weekly Shonen Jump " anthology as well as in print form.
In June 2022, Deadline announced that Sony Pictures had appointed Justin Lin to direct a live-action movie based on the manga. Later, in April 2024, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Dan Harmon, co-creator of Rick and Morty and Community, along with screenwriter Heather Anne Campbell, were revising the script for the film adaptation.
