On May 2nd, Takeshi Okano and Sho Makura released Jigoku Sensei Nube Kai as its original authors.




At AnimeJapan 2025, during a stage event on Sunday, six new cast members were announced for the television anime adaptation of Takeshi Okano and Sho Makura's Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube manga.

The revelation of a new manga series was part of the event. This new manga will be published in the June issue of Shueisha ' s Saikyō Jump magazine on May 2. Sho Makura is responsible for the original work while Takeshi Okano will be drawing it. This new manga is titled Jigoku Sensei Nube Kai . In this new series, Nube travels through space and time in order to rescue class 5-3 students who have been transported into a realm of supernatural tales.

All members of the new anime series' voice acting team are pupils from class 5-3.

The anime television show "IM Animation W" will start airing on TV Asahi's new anime programming block in July.

Ryo Takahashi will portray the character of "Nube" in the anime series, alongside other notable actors such as Ryo Takahashi.

As Hiroshi Tateno, a student in Class 5-3 at Domori Elementary School, Ryōko Shiraishi has a lively and enthusiastic demeanor.
As Kyoko Inaba, a diligent and reliable member of Class 5-3, Aya Suzaki displays her frankness.
As Miki Hosokawa, a student in Class 5-3 with a curious and mischievous nature, Tomoyo Kurosawa portrays the character.
As Katsuya Kimura, a student in Class 5-3, Ryōta Iwasaki is portrayed in a relatively mature manner compared to his age group.
As Makoto Kurita, a Class 5-3 student who is one of the smaller students in his class, Shiho Kokido is known for being quiet and reserved.

As Yukime, the enigmatic character claiming to be Nube's betrothed, AI Kakuma presents herself in a captivating manner.
As Kyosuke Tamamo, a young man from Domori Town who is good-looking.


Yasuyuki Ōishi (episode director for Stars Align , Narenare -Cheer for you!- ) is directing the anime at Studio KAI . Fumito Yamada (episode director for Hell's Paradise , Love Is Indivisible by Twins ) is the assistant director, Yoshiki Ōkusa ( Butt Detective franchise, The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases ) is the head writer, and Yū Yoshiyama (key animator for Dragon Ball Super , Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury ) is the character designer. Evan Call ( My Happy Marriage , Violet Evergarden ) is composing the music.

A number of inexplicable phenomena have been plaguing the town of Domori. In order to protect the town's children, a new homeroom teacher known as “Nube” arrives.

By nature, Nube is mild-mannered and sociable. However, there is something unique about him - he possesses psychic abilities.
In Japan, there is a rumored teacher whose left hand is believed to be controlled by a malevolent spirit.

An agent representing divine retribution has arrived at the institution to tackle its enigmatic riddles, phantoms, and malevolent forces.
An occultist is currently engaging in attacks on their students using spiritual forces.

The manga "One Piece" was originally published in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in serial form from 1993 to 1999. It has over 29 million copies in circulation. Later, it was republished in 2006 as 20 volumes.

In April 2014, Makura and Okano released a one-shot manga called "Jigoku Sensei Nube: Ōmagatoki" in Grand Jump. This was followed by a sequel manga titled Jigoku Sensei Nube Neo in May 2014 in Grand Jump Premium. Jigoku Sensei Nube Neo ended in December 2018 with 17 volumes. Meanwhile, Jigoku Sensei Nube S was launched in Saikyō Jump in 2018 with four volumes. Additionally, there are two spinoff mangas called Reibaishi Izuna and Reibaishi Izuna Ascension with 10 volumes each.

On August 2nd, a new one-shot manga was published in the September edition of Saikyō Jump magazine by Shueisha.

In 1996-1997, the manga was turned into a TV anime series. Additionally, there were video anime adaptations from 1998-1999. Three anime films were also made based on the manga in 1996 and 1997. Furthermore, there was a live-action adaptation of the manga that was released in 2014.
