There was recently discovered a massive hole called Asylum located in Antarctica. At the same time, a mysterious illness known as Randolph Syndrome started spreading globally. Many nations sent investigation teams to the asylum, believing it to be the source of the disease. However, no one returned safely from the investigation. Two individuals, Sergiu Sol with resistance to the disease and Hildegard Olympiada Yamada, a jack-of-all-trades from Antarctica, decided to investigate the asylum without a map.
