The anime "Top wo Nerae 2!" focuses on Nono, a rural girl who aspires to become a space pilot. After meeting an actual space pilot named LalC in a chance encounter, Nono becomes part of the exclusive Fraternity, comprised of teenage pilots armed with advanced Buster Machines. Their mission is to safeguard the inhabitants of the Solar System from threats posed by uchuu kaijuu (space monsters). The series begins with Chapter 1, which introduces Nono's initial encounter with LalC and her instant admiration for her as oneesama (big sister).
