Haruhiko Satou, also known as Mikimoto, is a renowned comic book artist, illustrator, and anime character designer from Japan. He gained significant recognition during the 1980s and is widely regarded as one of the top character designers of his time. Born on August 28, 1959 in Tokyo, he graduated from Keio University. While studying at university, Satou worked as an animator for Artland and was responsible for creating model sheets for Choujikuu Yousai Macross.
