During a picnic, Pikachu and his companions stumbled upon a Ghost Festival. As they entered, they discovered that it was inhabited by supernatural creatures known as Ghost Pokemon, including Koffing, Lickitung, Ditto, and Cubone. Meowth also happened to be present at the festival but became extremely frightened. Despite this, Pikachu managed to make friends with the ghosts and collaborated with them in order to scare Meowth away from the Ghost Festival.
