When Takuya Isurugi is assigned to the 801st Tactical Training Squadron, he discovers that his new squadmates are members of an all-female aerial acrobatic team known as the "Airbats." Led by Mitsuru Konishi, the Airbats consist of four unique individuals: Miyuki Haneda and Arisa Mitaka, who engage in a bitter rivalry over Takuya's affections; Sakura Saginomiya, an enthusiastic karaoke singer and skilled gambler; and Yoko Shimorenjaku, a junk food lover. Despite their differences, the Airbats must work together to prove their worth to the JASDF and avoid disbandment.
