In the world of Genesis Aquarion, 12 millennia have passed since the events depicted in the series. At present, humanity resides on the celestial body known as Vega, which is perpetually under threat from extraterrestrial beings referred to as Abductors. These adversaries hail from Vega's sibling star Altair and persistently raid Vega for human lives. In response to this menace, an organization called Neo-DEAVA was established to combat the Abductors. They wield cutting-edge mecha suits known as Aquaria, which are strictly segregated by gender. Boys and girls are prohibited from having any contact with one another, let alone engaging in battle on the same field. Nevertheless, the situation takes an unexpected turn when a highly advanced Abductor mecha suit joins the fray. Two adolescents, Mikono and Amata, become unwittingly entangled in the conflict. Without realizing it, Amata performs a forbidden act by summoning an Aquaria and establishing what is known as the Forbidden Union between male and female Aquaria. This development shocks Neo-DEAVA, and the ramifications of Amata's actions are far more profound than he could have ever imagined. To begin with, how did Amata manage to summon an Aquaria? Where did he acquire the knowledge necessary to form a Forbidden Union? Moreover, why was Mikono also able to pilot the mecha suit? These questions demand further exploration to fully comprehend the circumstances surrounding this astonishing turn of events.
