Joe Shimamura and other cyborgs face challenges as they confront the Bresudo, a group with superhuman abilities and intellectual prowess who have controlled human history for millennia. Despite their mysterious objectives, the Bresdos cast an ominous shadow over the world. Although many doubt their existence, Lucie Davenport, an American journalist, travels to Texas in search of contacting a specific family and encounters the cyborgs. Since the UN Guardian troops' formation, these cyborgs have been relieved from their responsibility to safeguard humanity. Now they lead peaceful lives away from public scrutiny.
