See You Tomorrow at the Food Court Anime Unveils Visual, July 7 Debut

6-episode series premieres on July 7 at 10:30 p.m. JST

On Friday, it was announced on the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Shinichirō Nariie's See You Tomorrow at the Food Court manga that the series will begin airing on July 7th. Additionally, the site released a promotional image.

On July 7th, at 10:30 p.m., Tokyo MX will air the anime for the first time. It will then be shown on other networks as well. There are six episodes in total. At the same time as its TV broadcast, it will also be available for streaming on ABEMA. On Friday, there was a special screening of the first episode at Animate Ikebukuro in Tokyo.

The anime stars:

- Hiyori Miyazaki as Wada
- Yoshino Aoyama as Yamamoto
- Saori Hayami as Saitō
- Jun Fukuyama as Duke Abel

Kazuomi Koga ( Rent-A-Girlfriend , Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible ) is directing the anime at Atelier Pontdarc . Jukki Hanada ( Sound! Euphonium , Love Live! School idol project , Princess Jellyfish ) is overseeing the series scripts, and Kyuta Sakai ( Kase-san and Morning Glories , Steins;Gate ) is the character designer and chief animation director. Kana Utatane ( Dead Mount Death Play , Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! ) is composing the music at Kadokawa , and Jin Aketagawa ( Kaguya-sama: Love is War , Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- ) is directing the sound at Magic Capsule .

Oisicle Melonpan perform the opening theme song "Mikansei ni Matataite" (Twinkling Incompletely).

Yen Press is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Wada is an honor student who keeps to herself and has an air of mystery around her. Yamamoto is an intimidating fashionista with dyed blond hair and a shortened skirt. Though this unlikely duo seem to have nothing in common, it's only during their daily meetings at the food court that they can be themselves!

In March 2020, Nariie started publishing their manga on Comic Newtype. After taking a break from January 2021 to September 2022, it resumed publication. In March 2021, Kadokawa released a collection of the first 15 chapters of the manga. ( link ) the manga's 23rd and most recent chapter on December 13. The manga's second compiled book volume titled Food Court de, Mata Ashita. Season 2 shipped on March 31.
