Ugoku! Neko Mukashi Banashi Web Anime's 2nd Video Unveils More Staff, Theme Song

Haku. performs "Muchū Neko" theme song for October 15 anime

On Wednesday, Ugoku! Neko Mukashi Banashi (Move! Cat Folktales), the web anime adaptation of Pandania 's Neko Mukashi Banashi (Cat Folktales) four-panel manga, was unveiled with its main visual, additional staff members, theme song performer Haku band, and a second promotional video.

The newly announced staff members include:

- Color Design: Fumiko Ishiguro , Kimiko Ookura
- Compositing Director of Photography: Misato Katayama
- Offline Editing: Kiyotaka Miyake
- Sound Director: Atsushi Nagashima
- Music: Dai Haraguchi
- Sound Effects: Noriko Izumo

The anime will debut on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. JST on its official YouTube channel ( link ) . New episodes will stream every Wednesday.

The anime will star:

- Yoshino Aoyama as Kijitora (brown tabby cat)
- Hiro Shimono as Chatora (orange tabby cat)
- Kana Ueda as Shironeko (white cat)
- Kanako Miyamoto as Mikeneko (calico cat)

Kazumi Nonaka ( Hana Kappa , Mameushi-kun , Happy Happy Clover ) is directing the anime at Studio Comet , Kenichi Yamashita ( Hensuki , MF Ghost two seasons, The tale of outcasts ) is in charge of series scripts, and Narumi Shimoji ( Charanpo Land no Bōken , Rinshi!! Ekoda-chan ) is designing the characters.

Anime and manga that are humorous and adorable reimagine global tales for kids with the addition of a feline character.

So far, Kadokawa has released four books in the series "Neko Mukashi Banashi": "Neko Mukashi Banashi", "Nyanto! Neko Mukashi Banashi", "Mikke! Neko Mukashi Banashi", and "Yo! Neko Mukashi Banashi". The fourth volume of this series will be available on October 16th.

There are several popular manga series featuring cats that are well-known in Pandania. Some of these include "Cats with Jobs," "The Evil Secret Society of Cats," "Yokai Cats," and "Monster Cats." These four manga are being released in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.

Dark Horse Comics is releasing Pandania 's Cthulhu Cat manga in English.
