Negi springfield is a young man who has been training to become a master wizard. all he needs to complete his studies is one more test. however, this last task proves challenging as it requires him to teach english at an all-female boarding school. upon arriving, negi unintentionally humiliates one of his students, asuna kagurazaka, and replaces her beloved teacher. this leads to asuna's hatred towards him. despite this, circumstances force the two to work together on various tasks such as fighting evil wizards and helping their classmates pass their final exam. along the way, they also experience humor, magic, and romantic entanglements.
