In Tokyo, post World War II, Kanna Kusakabe begins her second year at high school. On her way to class, she encounters her new language teacher, Akihiko Chuuzenji. As she enters the library prep room, she seeks assistance from Chuuzenji-sensei who is waiting inside. This marks the beginning of a high school supernatural mystery involving an unlikely partnership between a teacher and a student.
