Streaming service adds Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine film in India on May 16

According to recent reports, Netflix has announced that it will release the anime movie adaptation of Riyoko Ikeda's manga series "The " in India on April 30th. Additionally, on May 16th, they will introduce "Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine," which is the 26th installment in the Detective Conan franchise, in India.

On January 31st, the movie "The " was released in theaters. At the same time, in Japan, the anime series "Berubara Mini!" began airing, with each episode being released in conjunction with the movie screening.

The film "Ai Yoshimura" directed by "Daily Lives of High School Boys" was created by "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU". "Ashita no Nadja" and "Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%" were written by "Tomoko Konparu". "First Love Monster" and "Hell Girl" were designed by "Mariko Oka". "869/attack-on-titan#top" target="_blank">Attack on Titan" and "Blue Exorcist" were produced by "Hiroyuki Sawano", who also created music for "Kaina of the Great Snow Sea" along with "Kohta Yamamoto".

Ayaka performs the theme song "Versailles."

Oscar François de Jarjayes, raised as the "son" and heir of a general's family, masquerades as a beautiful woman in men's clothing. Marie Antoinette arriving from neighboring Austria as a bride to become a noble and graceful queen.. Oscar's servant and childhood friend, the commoner André Grandier. Hans Axel von Fersen, a handsome and intelligent count from Sweden. They meet in Versailles, France in the prosperous late 18th Century and live their respective destinies beautifully while being tossed about by the tides of times.

Ikeda published his adaptation of the original manga in Shueisha's Weekly Margaret magazine from 1972-1973. This "love and destiny" story takes place during the tumultuous court of Queen Marie Antoinette before and during the French Revolution. In this narrative, Lady Oscar is raised as a man to serve as a palace guard.

Since its launch in December 2019, Udon Entertainment has released all volumes of The Episodes side story manga in omnibus form. Additionally, they have licensed this popular side story but have not yet released it as of now.

In 1979-1980, an anime was made based on a manga. It had 40 episodes and was released in North America by Right Stuf in 2013 as two DVD sets. Discotek later produced an HD remaster of the series, which was released as two volumes in 2021.

Besides the TV anime adaptation, there are also several other adaptations of the manga that have been made into animated films, musical performances by all-female groups like Takarazuka Revue since 1974, as well as live-action films from both France and Japan in 1978. Additionally, DLE Inc. has created authorized parody shorts with Flash animation more recently.

The game "Private BeruBara Academy: Rose of Versailles Re*imagination" was based on a manga called "Shiritsu BeruBara Academy ~ Versailles no Bara Re*imagination~". It was released in May 2019 by Otomate.

In Japan in April 2023, the 26th film in the Detective Conan franchise, known as "Kurogane no Submarine" or "The Black Iron Submarine," was released. It sold 2,176,407 tickets in its first three days, generating 3,144,638,7340 yen (around US$23.4 million). This marked the first time in the franchise that a film had earned more than 10 billion yen. Eventually, "Kurogane no Submarine" made 13.83 billion yen (around US$88.23 million), making it the 19th highest-earning film in Japan ever.

The film opened in Indian theaters in August 2023.

The plot of the movie unfolds on Hachijō-jima Island, which is located in southern Tokyo. Engineers from various countries come together to witness the launch of a revolutionary system that connects all global law enforcement camera networks and enables worldwide facial recognition technology. Additionally, Conan receives an invitation from Sonoko to attend this event. While there, he receives news from Subaru Okiya that an Europol agent was killed in Germany by the Black Organization's Gin. This information upsets Conan, so he explores the new facility just in time for the Black Organization to kidnap a female engineer in search of critical data stored in her USB drive.

The film was directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, who is known for his work on Mob Psycho 100, Blue Giant, Case Closed: Zero the Enforcer, and Death Parade. Takeharu Sakurai wrote the screenplay, having previously worked on six other Detective Conan films including Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet. Yūgo Kanno composed the music for the film, having previously worked on Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween, Psycho-Pass, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
